For the Munnar–Thekkady–Alappuzha circuit, Kochi (COK) is normally the practical arrival gateway. Choose Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) when the route focuses on southern Kerala instead.
A direct Delhi–Kochi flight is about 3 h 10 m before airport processes and the onward road journey. A late landing makes Day 1 an arrival-and-rest day; do not prebook a full Munnar sightseeing schedule that day.
Rail to Ernakulam can take roughly 39–50+ hours; rail to Thiruvananthapuram roughly 49–53 hours, depending on service. Compare actual train availability with a flight before allocating leave days.
